Non-removable battery = not interested.
Why? are you keeping your phone more than 3 years?
Get over it. Most big brands have moved on from that stage, including Samsung. Don’t like it? Then you should try other brands. Idk who i just replied to but it was meant for Magani.
@mrk_o
You said: “Get over it” ?
Just because I am not one who thinks that something costing in excess of $1000 is a disposable item, I should just suck it up?
Between Mrs Magani and I, we tend to keep our phones for about 3~4 years. With our current phones (one HTC, one Samsung S5), had we not had the ability to buy replacement batteries, we would have had to buy 2 new phones when the original batteries failed (one at 25 months, and one at 19 months).
I know a lot of folks like the latest and greatest, but if it does what I need it to do (make phone calls, play music, use as GPS, etc), and it works, the ‘keeping up with the Joneses’ approach does nothing for me.
In the early days of mobiles, a new release generally gave you something that was a step forward. As things have evolved, new releases seem to be just incremental in nature.
If that’s all you do with your phone then I don’t think the note series is right for you anyway. Choose something else
is it just me or is this not a really big jump from from the s7 edge?
Its not an upgrade from the S7/ Edge mate. Its an upgrade from the Note 5. BTW the S7/Edge has only been out for less than 6 months, there isn’t much to change in a 6 months gap too.. The Note series and the S-series are aimed at Completely different consumers. TBH i was hoping there would be a flat variant. (non-edge) At least its less curved than the S7 Edge i guess.
Better I get Nokia phone with $49 instead of spending this dollars in those shit phones
Away you go then
I have the note 4 which is amazing but still this is a significant upgrade. I was tossing up between the edge and note, I still think I will upgrade to the note
I just pre ordered a Note 7 aftet owning a Note 1,2 and now currently have a Note 4
I just got the mrs an S7 Edge and she loves it (old phone was an S5)
