Recruiters are always on the prowl for new candidates to fill their clients’ vacancies. If an offer doesn’t interest you, tell the recruiter what opportunities interest you in instead of just saying no.

We’ve suggested before that it’s smart to take a recruiter’s call. Many of you said in the comments that recruiters were offering you the wrong job. Glassdoor has a great way to respond if they are pitching you the incorrect job:
If you are someone who is often contacted for opportunities that you are not a fit for or, are simply uninterested in, use it to your advantage. How?
1. Create an email addressing the job opportunities that would be of interest to you.
2. Track your interactions with recruiters and develop those encounters into relationships.
Creating a response like the one Glassdoor suggests keeps you open to new opportunities. Of course, if a recruiter is just being annoying and isn’t listening, feel free to ignore them. A quality recruiter is likely to read your response and tailor the pitch to your specific needs.
Check out the link for a template of the suggest response.
