After months of relentless leaks, the Google Pixel 3 has officially launched – and for the first time ever, it’s available on the Optus network. Here are the plans!
The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL don’t go on sale until November 1, but you can already pre-order them on a range of Optus plans. Pricing starts at $58 on a 24-month plan (this includes a $13 monthly handset repayment in addition $45 My Plan Flex plan.)
Here are the standout plans, according to Optus:
- Optus is offering Google Pixel 3 (64GB) to lease starting from just $58 per month ($45 My Plan Flex 24-month plan, plus $13 monthly handset repayment; min. total cost $1,392 over 24 months (damage and cancellation fees may apply)) with 4GB total monthly data (2GB + 2GB bonus data).
- Optus’ best value plan on Google Pixel 3 (64GB) is the $65 My Plan Flex 24-month leasing plan (handset repayments included; min. total cost $1,560 over 24 months (damage and cancellation fees may apply)) with 20GB total monthly data (10GB + 10GB bonus data).
- Optus is also offering Google Pixel 3 XL (64GB) to lease starting from $68 per month ($45 My Plan Flex 24-month plan, plus $23 monthly handset repayment; min. total cost $1,632 over 24 months (damage and cancellation fees may apply)) with 4GB total monthly data (2GB + 2GB bonus data).
- Optus’ best value plan on Google Pixel 3 XL (64GB) is the $85 My Plan Flex 24-month leasing plan, with $5 monthly handset repayments, and 50GB total monthly data (25GB + 25GB bonus data). Minimum total cost is $2,160 over 24 months (damage and cancellation fees may apply)).

All Optus My Plan Plus and My Plan Flex postpaid handset plans of $45 and above offer the following monthly inclusions:
- Unlimited standard national calls and texts
- Optus Sport subscription can be added as an optional extra at no extra charge: customers can watch year-round Premier League action, plus the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa Cup and UEFA Nations League live
- Access to the National Geographic App included at no extra cost: customers can watch hundreds of hours of science and nature documentaries and movies
- The option to stream Netflix, Stan and ABC iView without using the plan’s data for an additional $5 per month (subscriptions required)
- Data Pool enabling customers to share data between eligible plans on the same bill
