If you’re looking to change up your bedtime story routine, this Alexa skill can help. Short Bedtime Story will read a, you guessed it, short bedtime story to your child, using his or her name.
You can listen right when you install the free skill, but you can also further customise the skill to deactivate stories you’ve already heard (or just don’t want to hear) and fix name pronunciation for unusual names using the skill’s website.
If you’re really ambitious, you can also write your own story about your family and add it to the app to be read to your child. It’s definitely not something you’re going to use every night, but it can be a fun way to spice up your home’s bedtime routine.

If reading stories to your children yourself is too much trouble, perhaps don’t have them.
Sorry, but if you don’t have the time or inclination to read your child a bedtime story (you, too, can even use their own name) then maybe parenthood isn’t for you. I always looked upon it as one of the great things about being a dad.
Can it discipline my children as well? I’m to lazy and my childs teacher is a bitch and tries to tell me she’s an educator and the child raising part is my job.
