HTC’s first two glass-backed, AI-enhanced phones are about to launch in Australia. Here’s how much you’ll pay and when you can get one.
The HTC U Ultra will set you back $1199 in Australia, while the smaller HTC U Play will be $799. Both will be out in store and for online sales from March 8.
You’ll find both phones in blue, pink and black colour variants at JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman, with Harvey’s also offering the U Ultra for pre-order.

To buy either phone on a plan, you’ll be heading to Vodafone. The HTC U Ultra will cost you $8 per month and the U Play $5 a month on a 24-month payment plan, and there’ll be various Red and MyMix plans on offer to bundle with the phone.
