Optus have updated their mobile broadband plans, offering a range of new data inclusions. Streaming is a major focus of the new 24-month plans, some even including data-free Netflix and Presto.
On the lower end of the scale, these plans start at $15 per month for 2GB of data, whereas high usage customers can pick up 50GB for $70 per month.
On the $35 and $50 per month 24-month plans, Optus is offering data-free Netflix and Presto streaming in standard definition for an additional $10 per month. Both are also included at no additional cost in the $70 per month plan. All SIM only plans at $35 and above will also include data-free music streaming with Spotify, Google Play Music, Pandora and iHeartRadio.
The new plans can be combined with approved previously existing Optus mobile broadband plans for data sharing services. There is also an option for tablet trade ups after 12 months for $99.
OVO, which is on the Optus network, also has competitive plans, including 50GB for $59.95. See below.
