Users of the open source mobile operating system Cyanogen can now do more with Microsoft’s Cortana. The digital personal assistant app was officially released for Android, iOS and Cyanogen late last year.
The Cyanogen OS update (12.1-YOG7DAS2K1 Incremental) provides deeply integrated features for Cortana, including voice activation of the app by saying “Hey Cortana”, toggling between network modes, powering off the device and turning on Quiet Mode.
For users that have a computer running Windows 10, you could use Cortana to sync up the information between your PC and your Cyanogen phone.
This update is 68MB in size and will be available to Cyanogen users as an over-the-air update. You can manually check for updates in the Settings menu.
