While most of Microsoft’s infrastructure products are now on a yearly update cycle, some still take a little longer. SQL Server 2014, which has already been through two community technology previews, is finally completed, and the finished code will be released on 1 April.
While the date lends itself to various April Fool-related remarks, it coincides with Microsoft’s Build developer conference in San Francisco (which Lifehacker will be covering, incidentally).
