Android KitKat isn’t just for Nexus 5 owners anymore. Updates for the Nexus 7 and 10 tablets have begun to be pushed out.
Right now, the update is only for Wi-Fi models, but apparently the SIM-equipped versions will follow soon. Here’s the official confirmation from the Android Twitter account:
Starting today, Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 will be getting a tasty update to Android 4.4, KitKat

I don’t know anyone who’s actually got this update yet. I don’t have it on my N4 or wifi only N7.
It may be region prioritised, or country prioritised.
I just sideloaded 4.4 on my Nexus 7.
No love for my N7 yet.
