Chromium and KDE wallet handle this problem quite nicely. Can’t see or autofill passwords until you open the wallet.
I never use the remember me / remember my password options in any browser that I use
Instead, I’ve turned to the MiniKeePass iPhone application
It stores all my usernames and passwords in one place in a database protected by a single encrypted password… Of course, if someone knows that one password and also steals your phone then you have problems

If you upload the database to DropBox you can use the same database on both
