If you’re trying to remove a stubborn sticker from the wall, furniture, or even a laptop, you can go out and buy some adhesive remover, or you can turn to your pantry and use something you already have: vinegar.

Use a paintbrush or paper towel to paint the area lightly (very lightly, in the case of a laptop or something sensitive) with vinegar until it soaks through the sticker or gets in around the sides. Let the vinegar set for a five minutes or so, and then wipe the excess vinegar away and try to peel or scrape the sticker away.
With luck, it should come right up, but more likely you’ll have to put in a little elbow grease or apply the vinegar a few more times. Either way, if it works it’s much cheaper than going out and buying a bottle of Goo Gone if you don’t have one in the house already. What are your favourite adhesive removal tips?
