Many of us rely on several different online services, like Google Docs, file syncing services, photo sharing and image hosting sites, and even probably a mix of webmail and corporate email providers. If you’d like a unified view of all your cloud content and way to drag and drop files between them, check out webapp Primadesk.
Primadesk supports over two dozen services, including Box.net, Dropbox, Facebook, Gmail, Google Docs, Picasa, Hotmail, Photobucket, Shutterfly, Smugmug, Snapfish, SugarSync, Flickr, Yahoo Mail and Zoho.
After connecting your accounts to Primadesk, you can view all your documents in one place, search all the services, copy and paste files, or drag and drop between services just as if they were folders. Primadesk also offers a backup function so you can right-click on one of your services to back it up.
The service is currently in beta, so unfortunately some things like the ability to move photos between Picasa, Flickr, and other photo services is still in the works; you can try the company’s Fotolink service instead which goes through Facebook for dragging and dropping between photo services.
If you’re hesitant – understandably – about privacy and security, check out Primadesk’s security page, which details their 256-bit encryption security and the company’s privacy measures.
